Alpha Delta National Fraternity (AΔ) is a men’s college fraternity based upon the cardinal principles of Leadership, Brotherhood, and Service. Alpha Delta was officially founded by 14 men representing 4 colleges and universities at the Henley Park Hotel in Washington DC, on August 4th, 2007, but its chapters can trace local histories back more than 50 years as enumerated in its founding. Currently the fraternity has several chapters throughout the country, including the states of Maine, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. Alpha Delta, unlike many traditional American fraternities, upholds a strong emphasis on community service. It also provides many social, academic, and leadership development opportunities for its members. The Nu Mu Chapter of Alpha Delta (formerly of Alpha Phi Omega) was started in 1961. *As allowed under the Title IX exemption for social fraternities and sororities, this organization may limit membership to a single gender*
