Hello everyone!
We had a great meeting on Tuesday--thank you to everyone who was there! For anyone who wasn't, our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 17, and we decided to read through through the rest of part 3. For me that is up to page 325.
Also we had shared a message from Kim Pittman from the library last night:
The library is one of the sponsors of One Book Northland, which is designed to bring Duluth-area communities together to celebrate reading by encouraging as many people as possible to read the same book. This year's book is
Where They Last Saw Her by Marcie R. Rendon, and we have copies available to check out from the library. There will be two UMD book discussions of this book: one hosted in the Multicultural Center in KSC 268 from 3-4pm on April 8th, and the other in our library from noon-1pm on the library first floor on April 1st. I'm attaching a poster with this information, as well as information for a documentary screening that will happen in conjunction with these events.
