About Us
Hello and Welcome! We are the Student Design Organization! We help students expand their knowledge of design, make a difference through creativity, and create networking opportunities. We are a group of designers that strive to use design as a means to connect and make a difference in the area around us. Although we are mostly a group of design majors, any major is welcome and encouraged to join our group! Some events we have done in the past are; meet weekly to connect with fellow classmates/friends, invite professional graphic designers to speak to our group, encourage the growth of our members by hosting tutorial nights, host activities that bring different majors together while encouraging design skills, tour design studios in the Duluth area and in the cities, meet off campus and play laser tag with design professors at the end of the semester. Most importantly, we are a group of students, regardless of major, who are interested in design.
