About Us
Hey friends! We are Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM for short), a religious organization here at UMD. As our name suggests, our worship services are centered around the Lutheran denomination, but all our welcome to join our worship services, our weekly Koinonia sessions, and the events we host throughout the year. We hold worship services every week on Tuesday nights, and Koinonia on Thursday nights. Now, for those not fluent in Greek (which, let us be honest, you probably aren't), Koinonia is Greek for fellowship. Fellowship is something we aspire to provide through our worship services and our chats afterwards and through our Koinonia sessions, where we get together and get to know one another and discuss religion in a respectful and thoughtful manner. Here at LCM, we aspire to create this sense of community for everyone. Again, that means everyone. Period. No exceptions. All are welcome to join us in our explorations of faith and community. We hope to have you join us!
