About Us
The Biology Club was established in the late sixties and gives students a place to interact socially and academically. We have a history of providing services to our department and connecting individuals within the SCSE Biology community. Our officers coordinate with faculty and members to assign initiatives for each semester. Members collaboratively act on these initiatives by helping organize social or service events that engage the department faculty, staff, and students. Additionally, by helping out with UMD Biology Club, students gain access to resources for networking and career guidance, as well as information regarding science courses and faculty. Biology Club provides a fun, social atmosphere for students to engage with their peers and with the scientific community of Duluth, while contributing their services on campus.
