About Us

Beta Lambda Psi is a local social and sisterhood sorority founded in 1992, making it the oldest sorority at the UMD campus. The purpose of Beta Lambda Psi is to first and foremost unite unique women together in a true and everlasting sisterhood. Through this union, we shall promote dedication to sisterhood, academics, community service, and ethics. *As allowed under the Title IX exemption for social fraternities and sororities, this organization may limit membership to a single gender*
