Come check out What’s the Buzz?, an event all about pollinators and how we can help them thrive. Hosted by UMD Helping Hives, this event will be in the Kirby Ballroom on November 20th from 12 PM to 3 PM.

There will be a mix of tables, workshops, and speakers offering hands-on tips for creating pollinator-friendly spaces, with insights from people who know a lot about these crucial creatures. Local experts will be there to talk about why pollinators matter and the small steps you can take to support them right at home.

We’ll also be selling fresh, locally produced UMD honey from the campus apiary to support pollinator projects, so you can take home a taste of UMD while helping the cause! This event is free and open to everyone—whether you're curious about bees or ready to make a difference, stop by and see what it’s all about!
