About Us

The Mission of the Graduate Student Association (GSA) is to promote and advocate for the interests of UMD graduate students. This organization serves as the primary communication channel from all graduate programs to the three elected Graduate Programs Committee student representatives; as well as one placed representative to Student Association. It will organize social and academic events for graduate students and serve as a means to disseminate information related to the graduate programs at UMD. Importantly, the association provides a stronger sense of community for the UMD graduate students and provides educational and interactive ways to collaborate and build the graduate culture. We welcome both undergraduate and graduate students to participate in our events. Whether you are interested in finding a community of other graduate students or interested in talking about graduate school, all are welcome here! *In accordance with University of Minnesota Policy, all students are welcome to join and participate in this group's activities as members or supporters, regardless of identity*
